Digital tools made with communities, not just for them
Her Web Impact is a Community Interest Company supporting digital inclusion and women-led tech. We are rooted in lived experience and powered by purpose.

We’ve been awarded £19,500 in National Lottery funding for Her Digital Empowerment.
Our digital skills programme for refugee women in Cardiff runs across five 2.5-hour sessions, delivered across two cohorts. Supported by National Lottery players through The National Lottery Community Fund (Awards for All Wales).
Building digital confidence through community workshops and collaboration.
We deliver hands-on workshops, training sessions and community-led design projects that empower women and local organisations to thrive in digital spaces.
Founded on the belief that everyone deserves a place in the digital world.
Her Web Impact was founded in Cardiff after seeing, first-hand, how digital barriers shut people out of vital services: housing, healthcare, education, employment. For women navigating these systems in a second or third language, the barriers are even higher.
We started small: listening sessions, kitchen table workshops, conversations with women who had never been asked what they needed from technology. What we heard shaped everything, from the tools we build to the way we run our programmes.
Today, Her Web Impact CIC works with refugee women, local charities and community organisations across Cardiff and Wales to co-design digital tools that actually serve the people who use them.

Newly launched, proudly purpose-driven.
From our five-session digital skills programme to community-led website builds, everything we do starts with a question: what does this community actually need?
Her Digital Empowerment
Our funded programme for refugee women in Cardiff runs over five 2.5-hour sessions and covers everything from email and smartphones to online safety and accessing public services, all in a safe, welcoming space.
Inclusive Design
We build accessible, multilingual websites and platforms that work for real people, not just those who are already digitally confident. Every project starts with community input.
Community Co-Design
We facilitate co-design sessions that bring together community members, local organisations and digital experts to create tools shaped by the people who’ll use them.
Real-World Impact
We focus on access to housing, healthcare and support services, the areas where a lack of digital confidence creates the greatest barriers for the communities we serve.
Our Principles
These guide everything we do.

So glad to see something like this in Cardiff! I’ve already shared it with my mum and sister, it’s exactly what they need. What a brilliant initiative.

I work with women returning to the workforce and this is so needed. I’ll absolutely be signposting people to Her Web Impact. What you’re building really matters.
